Owen Strachan is the President of the Council on Biblical Manhood & Womanhood. He is also Assistant Professor of Christian Theology and Church History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College and is the Director of the Carl F. H. Henry Institute for Evangelical Engagement at SBTS. He is married to Bethany, daughter of theologian Bruce Ware, and is the father of three children.
Strachan is the author of seven books, including Risky Gospel: Abandon Fear and Build Something Awesome (Thomas Nelson, 2013). He is a contributing writer for The Gospel Coalition and a fellow of the Center for Pastor-Theologians. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College (AB in History), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv in Biblical & Theological Studies), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (PhD in Theological Studies).
