Just wondering why is there a picture of a white couple for today’s broadcast?

    • Thanks for calling us out on that image mistake! We should have paid more attention to at least match the ethnicity of our guests. Thanks for listening! We appreciate you.

Good morning. I just had the exact same thought as Squidman. The way this page is set up is very confusing. I understand the use of stock photos for a more generic subject, but it doesn’t work at all in this case. Upon first glance, I got the idea that Amanda and Ryan were the couple in the header photo, and after scrolling down I was pleasantly surprised to see who the real Amanda and Ryan are. It’s so rare that we hear from ethnic and racially diverse guests on Family Life Today (and at Family Life events), so it would have been nice to see this couple highlighted. I would love to hear and see more from Christians who look like me (a Black woman) from Family Life, as well as other Christian outlets/groups/organizations with a far reaching voice. I am disappointed, and truly think that Family Life truly missed the mark on this one.
