I wish my husband would really read God’s word and understands what the Holy Spirit is saying to him..Going to church is great, but not when you hear the word, and go out and drink 3-4 bottles of beer and shots..To make this marriage works, we really need help and counseling..

    • Phil

      Hi Pauline,
I’m sorry to hear about your struggles in marriage. I’d just like to remind you that you’re definitely not alone in your struggles. No marriage is without struggle. But by holding fast to God through prayer and reading His word, He can heal and restore any marriage. One big thing that truly has the power to have your husbands eyes opened to God and His word is you. In 1 Peter 3:1-2 it says “Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct.” I can attest to the truth of this as God has truly used my wife in this manner to continue to sanctify me. So, stay strong and keep praying for your husband. God bless.
