  • Jeff Whitty

I was amazed at one word in this morning’s broadcast as I drove in to work at 5:45 a.m. One of your hosts, while on the subject of talking to our children about sexuality and sexual purity vs immorality, said that abstinence before marriage is that “preferred” method. Are you serious?! Please show me in God’s Word where that is specifically mentioned….or even implied. I believe, according to what I have read over the past 56 years of my life, that the Bible explicitly directs us to abstain from having sexual relations before marriage as a command!
If I am wrong, pleas point to the scripture that states that it is “preferred”. Was that a “politically correct” verbage used to not offend some people, or was that coming from some liberal theology?!

    • Suzanne

Hi, Jeff! Which broadcast are you referring to? I would like to listen to it before responding. Thank you.
