Van Warner gives us a glimpse of what it’s like to live with and love an opioid addict, his son, Tommy. Van Warner first realized his 16-year old son had a problem when he went missing. Five days later Van Warner found Tommy in an old, abandoned building in town, barely recognizable and on the brink of an overdose. Detox and rehab came next, but it wouldn’t be his last.
